"KARLOVČANKA" was produced at the beginning of 1991 in the factory JUGOTURBINA in the city of Karlovac in Croatia.
JUGOTURBINA was producing diesel engines before the war, so it had the machines necessairy for fabrication.
It was made of a piece of cast iron pipe processed on lathe and horizontal milling machine.
The body was threaded on upper external part for screwing down the metal lid. The grenade was filled with Vitezit mixed with old used metal knives for lathe.
The fuze was a pyrotechnical slow-burning fuze with detonator No.8.
The grenades were issued unpainted.
