This fuze is primarily used in the PP-Mi-Sr bounding shrapnel antipersonell mines.
It has a three pronged plunger and a ball retained striker.
A safetypin may be inserted through the plunger at the top of the case. Eight or more pounds of pressure on a prong depresses the plunger and compresses the creep spring, which in turn compressesthe striker spring.
When the striker is depressed the retaining balls fall into the recesses in the side of the case, releasing the striker to fire the detonator.
